Troop
22 scouts have done it again this year at Ransburg summer camp,
bringing home an impressive 61 merit badges, all while each one
earned a rank in the Firecrafter program. Scoutmaster Joe
expressed pride for his scouts, "Everyone did great. It
was a wonderful week. We had a ball!" In addition to
earning so many merit badges, each scout gained one rank in
Firecrafter, a program available at summer camp in the
Crossroads of America Council. Four scouts completed
the requirements for the high rank of Firecrafter. Each
one had to "get their spark" (just ask them-they'll tell you
what that means!) and start a fire from scratch. They will
complete the final requirement at the Firecrafter Grand Ritual
this summer in order to earn the rank.
Congratulations to our scouts this year! You all did
a fantastic job!
